About Citizens for Quality Education

Who Are we?

The Citizens for Quality Education (PAC) was founded in 2005 as a grass-roots organization of citizens who are concerned about Glendale Union High School District schools. Our goals include engaging the community in the school budget process and exploring numerous ways of maintaining and increasing funding to our schools.

What Is Our Mission?

As a grass-roots organization of Citizens who are concerned about our public schools, our mission includes engaging the community in education related legislation, school related elections, the school budget process and exploring numerous ways of maintaining and increasing funding to our schools. Paramount in the organizations beliefs is the fact that children repesent the future of the Glendale Union High School District and its encompassing communities. In conjunction with that belief is the conviction that strengthening public education is essential for our communities to prosper in the Informational Age. We believe that public education is everyone’s responsibility and we cannot demand responsibility and accountability from school board members, administrators, teachers, staff, parents, even students, unless we also demand it from ourselves.

How Are we Funded?

Citizens for Quality Education is funded by contributions from businesses, community partners and individuals interested in supporting public education in the Glendale Union High School District and encompassing communities.
